How do I set my own horizontal and verticle dimensions in visio 20

Mainly interested in using Visio for making blueprint documents for building
furniture, etc. How do I set the horizontal and verticle dimensions to meet
my specifications?

Some of the furniture shapes have custom properties that control their
dimensions. Go to View > Custom Properties Window to modify these.

Also, use View > Size & Position Window to directly change the size of any
Visio shape.
