How do I set Outlook as my default mail recipient?

Everytime I go into Microsoft Outlook, it asks me to run Microsoft Outlook
and set it as my default mail recipient. How do I do this?

I used:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Tools - Internet Options - Programs
3. Select Microsoft Outlook from the E-mail drop down menu.
