How do I set the ruler to inches in MS Word?

I can't get the rulers to read in inches in MS Word in my new Office 2003.
I've set the Measurement Units in Options to Inches, but that doesn't set the
ruler.

Thank you for your quick response. I went to the link and I'll try the
Visual Basic fix.
