In the Gantt chart right mouse click on the timeline at the top, choose
timescale from the context menu that pops up and set the major and minor
divisions of your choice
Doubleclick on the timeline header. In the popup dialog box, set the middle
tier to quarters and the bottom tier to months. Make certain the Timescale
Options "show" is set to "two tiers (middle, bottom)".
