The page orientation and the margins are set in the File>Page Setup dialog.
How are you going about it and specifically what are you trying to do that
you have been unable to do?

I think we're going to need more information. How can we know what margins
are "correct" for you? What are you doing, what result do you expect, and
what unsatisfactory result are you getting?
