How do I set up a comparasion page of two different programs?

I'm trying to compare two different programs on one page. I would like to
have one program on the left side of the page and one on the right.

Not really a Word question, but open both programs and then right-click in
the Windows Taskbar and choose the appropriate option.

Yes. The question is ambiguous as 'two different programs' means to me
something like Word and Access or Excel and Photoshop run side by side. But
it could have been asking for two sessions of Word displaying the same
document for comparison. Or maybe two sessions of Word running different
documents for copy/paste purposes. But with no details it may not even be
about Word.

If you look at the page I referenced, you'll see that it does compare "two
different programs" (well, actually several different SKUs of Office 2007,
but the principle is the same).
