How do I set up a ledger to send inventory data to payables group

Our accounting group is divided into the payables and receivables. I am in
the receivables group and have gathered the inventory totals and have to set
up a spreadsheet(debits and credits etc.) for the payables group to post my
inventories to the ledger. Can you help?
