I have a onenote notebook on a network drive, I have full permissions to the
drive but one note will not allow me to sync the notebook as it says that
onenote needs a password to sync but I can find nowhere that allows me to
input the network password I assume it is asking for. Any ideas

Some questions:
1. Are you running Vista or Windows XP?
2. What changed?
3. What type of machine is the network drive (Windows Home Server, a NAS
box, etc...)?
4. Did it ever work?

1. Windows XP
2. First time I have tried
3. it is a network share on a univeristy drive, I have full rights to this
'drive' I have also tried it on my home directory on the server and it wll
not allow me to sync, it wll allow me to create a notebook and then it stops
when I log off and log back on again

Additional information the error code is (Error Code: 0x52E) as a previous post

If you navigate to the section/notebook that is getting the error, do
you see an infobar across the top of the page/section? If you click the
infobar and select the notebook, do you get a credentials prompt?
Additionally, pressing shift+F9 while in the notebook or selecting "sync
selected notebook" should trigger the password prompt as well.
