You can set a custom view for your task pane, so that finished tasks
aren't shown. Then you enter your list of tasks in sequential order,
and when you finish the top one, check it off. It will disappear and
the next one will move to the top.
If you want to set tasks and subtasks, or if you want to set numerical
priorities, instead of just a priority flag, there are add-ins that
will allow that.
