how do I set up a task that starts at the end of task a and compl.

Dale

I am setting up a Project task c that needs to start after completion of a
previous task a and will complete 52 weeks after another previous task b.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Dale,

1)Copy the finish date of task a, paste link into the Start date of Task c.
2)Add a custom Duration (Duration1) field to the table. Enter the 52 weeks
duration for the Duration1 field for task B. (Note, you can omit this step
but you would need to change the formula in Step 4 to add the 52 weeks
duration - adding the duration column allows you to modify the additional
time easily.)
3)Add a custom Finish (Finish1) to the table. Use the ProjDateAdd function
to add Duration1 to the Finish of task B.
4)Copy and paste link the calculated finish (Finish1] of Task B as the
Finish of Task C.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

OOOPS. Sorry - you would need to change the formula in *Step 3* if you omit
step 2.
Fat fingers...

Hi Rick,
I don't believe that will work for Dale if I read his post correctly.
Setting up two FS predecessor will move task C to start after task B plus the
52 week lag. I think he was hoping for a hammock task.

You're right, I missed the key word "finish"
