How do I set up dependent data lists in Access 2003?

Hi,

I have a main data entry form with subforms in their own tabbed areas,
tabbed by category. Some of the data in the subforms use list boxes (created
from the Lookup wizard in the design of the table on which the subform is
based). Is there any way that I can make these dropdown lists dependent on
an entry in the main form? The list is very large and there is currently
room for data entry error. I have a feeling that I need to create a query,
setting the criteria to be whatever is selected on the main form, and using
the resulting dynaset as the data source for the list, but I'm not too sure.
I've done this on a switchboard before, but I think I need reminding of the
steps behind this. Currently the subforms are based on linked tables (as
usual, linked on a one-many relationship with the master table).

Any ideas? I would be grateful for any help.

Many thanks,

Karen

Ooh that sounds good. I'll visit the link and I'll let you know how I get
on. Thanks Daniel.

Take care,

Karen
