If giganews is an NNTP server, then you don't. Without an add-in you must
purchase, Outlook has no NNTP capability. It uses whatever newsreader you
have installed as your default newsreader, like Outlook Express, Windows Mail,
or Windows Live Mail.

There's a caveat to that - certainly in Vista (I have Home Premium - I don't
know about the others) Windows Mail is hard-coded as the NNTP reader. You
can set any other application you like as default news reader but if you
click a news link in a web page or email, or use the Go-News function in
Outlook, it will open Windows Mail.
