How do I set up my browser to read publisher designed web pages ?

I designed web pages in published 2003. It used to view very well in MSIE on
my old pc for almost two years. I got a new pc recently and the new MSIE is
not showing the web pages as they were designed. Also netscape web browser is
not displaying the web pages as they were designed in publishers.

I am in the UK and I am using Western European as defalt in my settings.

How do I set up Publisher 2003 web pages to be read by all or most browsers,
including Netscape. ?

Can anyone help with this probllem ?

Soulonice,

Its sounds like two issues. Your new computer system and monitor may be set
at a different resolution than the old one, and thus the difference in
appearance. Compare the resolution of your old monitor with the new. Also if
it is just text that appears different, then under IE, go to View > text
size and vary it to see if that makes a difference.

You might also change the encoding from Western European to Unicode (UTF-8),
as a next step.

If none of this helps, post back with details as to what is not displaying
correctly, along with the URL.

As per it not viewing well in Netscape, Pub 2003 produces code that is
designed to work best in IE, and does not enjoy good cross browser support.
Some people seem to have less problems than others, but I am not sure why.
Perhaps under Tools > Options > Web tab untick 'enable incremental...',
'Rely on VML...', and 'Allow PNG...'. (This is also where you would change
the encoding if you choose.)
