how do I set up outlook 2003 to automatically show new email mess.

I have to consistently go to tools and click on send and receive new emails
instead of an email popping up with a ringing tone automatically. FOr
example: I will be waiting for responses from email and outlook is not
notifying me of any new messages. How do I fix this?

Did you configure an automatic Send/Receive interval?
Tools > Options > Mail Setup
