How do I set up outlook express?

I am tryng to set up outlook express on my dads computer. I have no idea
what type of server it is and it is asking me to complete the ingoing and
outgoing mail servers. I do not understand this and I have no idea who to
contact in order for anyone to talk me through it step by step.
