When i am at home i can send and recieve emails OK. However, if i want to use
Outlook anywhere else i can receive emails OK but i am unable to send. I have
been told that it should be possible to send and receive emails from my
Outlook when i am anywhere in the world but i am not sure how to do this.
thanks

You have to set up the smtp server to authenticate, in the Account settings.

Do you refer to the Outgoing Server tab?
If so, how do i know which of the three radio buttons would apply to me?
thanks again

That's correct

There's only two. Check the box "My outgoing server (smtp) requires
authentication" and then check the first radio button if your smtp log-in is
the same as your POP server login, the second if it is different. (It's very
unusual if it's different....)

I checked the 1st radio button Use same settings as my incoming mail server
but when i tried to send an email i recieved a Send and Receive error.

If i select the Log on and Password option do you know which type of log on
and password this refers to?

thanks again

Well that should work - if you get an error then I suggest you talk to your
ISP...
