how do i set up outlook?

hey, my name is sergio and i was wondering if someone can tell me how to set
up microsoft outlook 2000. i have a smartphone and i wanted to set up outlook
to be able to synchronize with the pc and phone. I was able to set up an
email and password but i got stuck on the server setup part. can someone
please tell me how to set this up to work properly? please respond asap.

I think SmartPhones require Outlook 2002 or greater, but I could be wrong. Install the latest Activesync and see what it asks for.

Do you intend to have Outlook be able to send and receive mail? If so, you
should enter the server values that your ISP will supply you.
