How do I set up tab key to input the outline number.

I have WordXP (2003). I attached styles to my outline numbers. I want t
use the tab key and the shift+tab to increase and decrease the outlin
number. I now have to manually select the style with my mouse or us
Alt+Shift+arrow

For Word 2002 and later: Choose Tools > AutoCorrect, click the
AutoFormat As You Type tab and enable the option to "Set first and
left indent with tabs and backspaces."
