How Do I set up the Microsoft Exchange Server?

What names would I give to the server and Mailbox? I'm using Outlook 2003
and running it on Windows 2000 SP4 on a single, non-networked computer.
Thanks.

You don't. You use either POP or IMAP.

Exchange server is a Microsoft mail server, normally used in a business
environment. Unless you're planning on purchasing the software and licensing
and setting up a mail server for yourself, it's more probable you want to
set up a POP3 account to connect to your ISP to pull your mail. Is this what
you want to accomplish?

Yes. I have those POP 3 accounts set up already. I just didn't know how the
Microsoft Exchange Server worked and that it was something I needed to buy.

If it's a non-networked computer then you won't set up an Exchange account,
as it requires that you be connected to a network with a Microsoft Exchange
server on it.
