How do I setup recurrence in outlook 2002

I am trying to setup recurrence tasks in Outlook 2002 and I get an error
message that says Outlook Connector does not support the recurrence pattern.
How do I get around this?

Since you appear to be using the Outlook Connector, it would seem you're
connected to Hotmail. I strongly suspect that Hotmail's Calendar can't do
recurrences.
