How do I setup taskpad view in Calendar to only show active tasks

Try setting you that option from within the Tasks section.

Ah no that won't do it.

In Calendar with the TaskPad showing, set the TaskPad this way: View |
TaskPad view | Active Tasks for Selected Days (or whatever you want).
