how do I shorten the transition time between PP slides?

I am having all kinds of problems figuring out how to make the transition
time between slides shorter. There is a long gap between when one slide
fades out and the other fades in. Can someone please help?

Brenda,
Go to the slide transition task pane, see if the box automatically after is
checked or not, and if so what time has been applied, change that time or
unclick the box and see if this helps.

In the slide transition taskpane change the speed to fast - does that help?
You can click 'apply to all slides' but be warned, if you have an automatic
transition time set it will aplly this to all your slides too....
