How do I show that I completed an appointment

I am trying to figure out how to show that I completed an appointment, I use the appointments at my work schedule and would like to keep them there but just mark them complete. I put notes under those specific days and would like to be able to view those at a later time.

Outlook has no concept of a "complete" appointment. It assumes that if it's
on your Calendar, you did it.
