How do I shrink the shape "Selectable pump 2"

I want it to be smaller - but the corner handles are gray (not green) so I
can't shrink it to a smaller size - I can only squeeze it but one dimension
remains as it was...

I can of course just use another pump shape - but this is the one I would
like to use as it looks like the one we are used to.

Format, Protection, uncheck "Height"

By the way, yesterday, in the discussion for new users, under "Cannot resize
a basic shape", I gave the same answer.
