How do I solicit my contacts to send me vcard info.?

I want to send an email to many in my contacts list and invite them to send
me vcard information to automatically build my contact info. If a recipient
of the email does not use Outlook (like an AOL user etc.), how can they send
the appropriate information in the correct format so I can create a vcard
from their return email?
