How do I solve memory leak in word 2003 when using dictation?

When I use dictation with WORD 2003, it seems to be running the memory usage
up for sapisvr.exe, and then word goes into this mode where it uses lots all
the CPU when I am doing nothing. It seems like it may be caching or
something......

It's all better if I restart.

I beleive that I have the latest updates for everything.

Is there a setting that will turn off what ever it is doing?
