How do I sort My Document into alphabetical order?

and Some how the documents (resumes, cover letters, and etc.) in My
Docouments got out of alphabetical order, which makes it hard to search for
the file you want. I can not figure out how to resort it.
I am using Windows XP. Most of the documents are in MS 2003 Word or Excel.
Help!

While you are in your folder, look across the top for an Icon called Views.
Select Details. You will get bars across the top of your folder one of which
is Name. Click once on Name to sort Ascending, click again to sort in
descending order. Once you have your documents sorted, you can change your
view back to either icons or list or whatever.

Or just right click in the file open window and select 'Arrange Icons by
name'

Thank you, thank you, thank you. That was driving me crazy! My OS window
lists files A-Z, my Word window listed files Z-A. Every once in a while (over
the past 3 years) I would poke around on my computer and in help files to try
to figure out how to make the lists match; right-clicking in the file open
window and selecting Arrange ... by name did the trick. Finally. I feel so
organized now, I'm sure my productivity will increase 100-fold. ;-)

If you mean from the file open window of Word, then right click in that
window and select Arrange Icons by Name. Or set the view to 'Details' and
click the name header line
