How do I sort sent items by email address, not the name in quotes

When I sort Sent Items by the To field, I would like to sort by the email
address, not the name in quotes. Since it defaults to the name in quotes,
the dates are out of whack.
ie.
TO Date
"Jane" January
(e-mail address removed) December
"Jane Doe" November

All the emails are to the same person but some show up by name and others
by email. I want to sort all by the email address regardless of how the name
is displayed.
