How do I split a page so that I can make comparasions?

I am trying to compare two different programs. I wish to give the highlights
and differences of each program next to each other on the same page.

Insert a two-column table. Put the information for one program in the left-hand
cell, and the comparable information for the other program in the right-hand
cell of the same row. Press the Tab key to move from left to right or to add a
new row.
