How do I start the Short Cut Bar for Office 2000 / XP?

How do I start the Short Cut Bar for Office 2000/XP?
I am not sure if I have Office 2000 or XP but I guess that makes no
difference?
I do not seem to be able to start the Office shortcut bar,
I have tried to reinstall from control panel / add/remove programs etc but
it will not show.
(I never had any problem with this for Office97 using win98)

Any help is appreciated

In Ofice2K its under Programs/MS Tools, this may not be installed by
default, if not modify yr installation and install
To check version; in any Office App: Help/About

You must select "Custom Installation" and then drill down to the "Microsoft
Office Shortcut Bar" selection. By default this is set to "Not Installed".
