How do I startup a database with a VB script

M

melissas

I'm trying to implement the AutomationSecurity that TC mentioned awhile back
but do not know VB. I have only used MSAccess for programming and have seen
some of the programming in modules- even cut an pasted some successfully
before. But I do not know how to begin a program outside of Access. Does it
work something like the old DOS .bat files used to? Or is it something which
could be inserted into the Autoexec macro that I currently use to open with?

Thanks,

Yes, it works just like an old Bat file. Just paste the
script into a text file, and change the file extension
to .vbs
