How do I stop a graphic from jumping to the top of a page?

I want to place a graphic with text wrap in about the middle of a page of
text on the RHS but when I try to move it slightly it jumps to the top of the
page and stays there. Some of it is lost off the top and it won't move to the
position I want in the text. What do I do?

Hi Joy,

It may be possible that by moving the graphic, its anchor connects to
another paragraph. If that paragraph starts on the previous page, you may
experience unwanted results.

Try the following:

Make sure the anchor is visible by checking Tools | Options... | tab View |
Object anchors.
Drag the anchor to the paragraph in which your graphic is inserted (if this
is not possible, see below)
Right-click the graphic and choose Format Picture...
On the Layout tab, choose Advanced...
If you could not drag the anchor, clear the Lock anchor box, click OK twice,
drag the anchor to the desired paragraph and return to Format Picture | tab
Layout | Advanced...
Specify an absolute horizontal and vertical position, and select Page in
both dropdown lists.
Check Lock anchor.

The graphic should be securely fastened by now. Hope this helps.

Good luck,
Cooz
