How do I stop automatic changing of hyphens to dashes?

How do I stop Publisher changing the characters I type - like short hyphens -
to long dashes?

Tool, AutoCorrect Options, AutoFormat As You Type tab, uncheck Hyphens (--) with
dash (-).
