How do I stop black background printing in Access?

I recently changed the appearances on an XP machine for a visually impaired
individual. After making all the changes, the only thing that does not work
properly is printing anything out of Access. The black background prints
along with the document. The appearance settings are set to Windows Classic
and High Contrast. If I use anything but High Contrast, the black background
does not print.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Are you printing forms? You should be printing reports on white paper with
white or transparent backgrounds. Save your forms as reports and adjust the
background color.
