How do I stop capital letters from being typed button isn't pushe

I am using Microsoft Word 2033 How to stop capitals from being typed when
cap button isn't pushed down? Also it keeps earsing the words I type.

Tools - AutoCorrect Options - AutoCorrect. Uncheck the Capitalize options.

Press Insert once to solve the latter problem. Press Ctrl+Shift+A to remove
the All Caps formatting from your text.

If 'earsing' means erasing - then press the INS button once. You are in
overtype mode.
