how do I stop font changing when I copy to another box?

This is so annoying! Every time I copy text from one text box to another, it
changes my font to Times new roman. It doesn't matter if I use a text box
that already had the font I want to use in, or a new text box. So if my font
is say Aerial and the box its going to is Aeria, why does it change to Times?
Please help, I'm using PPT 2003
