How do I stop images from hiding when I put another image in Word?

The subject says it all. When ever I insert another image(and autoshape) into
the document they hide under the document, I have tochnage the grouping all
the time to make them show.

I mean like i instert an image and then scroll down and then come back up and
it hides under the document.
