how do i stop images in incoming emails from being blocked? 2000

HI All
I know I am very behind the times but have been using outlook express and
have just changed to outlook 2000. my problem is emails arriving that have
images in them are coming through blank.. How do I change settings to allow
images to show

Yes I am using AVG free edition I didnt have this problem when I used
outlook express so I dont think that is what is causing it.. I am not sure if
there is some setting in outlook I should change

OE and Outlook are two different programs and AVG free is well known to
cause issues. We usually recommend uninstalling it then reinstalling without
outlook/email integration. Just disabling email scanning doesn't seem to
make a difference.
