i often get a box on my dersktop titled internet script is ruuning. if i let
it run my puter becomes unresponsive. i have downloaded the latest version of
java hoping to end the hassle. it is my understanding that scripts are
usually created in java. i just recently had my hard drive wiped and
reloaded, upgrading to office 2007. i still use xp pro. any suggestions- i am
computer illiterate so i have to have instructions in plain language. i had
this problem with office 2003 and before i had the hard drive wiped and
reloaded.

Java has nothing to do with this. It's more likely that Javascript has
something to do with this. Although they have a similar name, they are
unrelated.

Office also has nothing to do with Internet scripts. You probably get this
issue when browsing the Internet? Contact support for the Internet browser
that you are using.
