How do I stop jumping to the new unread message?

Outlook 2007:
I like to review my new messages from oldest to newest. I have my options
all go to previous message (newer) after deleting or what ever. Since I
installed Office 2007 I've noticed that when I get a new message while I'm
reviewing unread messages when I try to move to the next one in the list, it
jumps to the one that just came in. I don't like this behavior and I'd like
to turn it off. How do I do that?
