How do I stop margin lines from showing in working doc?

When I open any document I see margin lines in the working document. I do
not want to see these, and need to turn them off. How do I turn off the
margin lines?
MS Word 2003

It sounds as if you have Tools > Options > View tab > Text boundaries turned
on. If this is the case, turn it off (the setting affects all documents).
