How do I stop my conttrols from resizing

My Excel controls change size 'randomly' How do I prevent this?

Set the properties of the controls to not resize with cells. Right-click on
the control >> Format control >> Properties tab >> make sure 'Move and size
with cells' is NOT the option selected.

If you change the Zoom setting on your worksheet, your controls will grow or
shrink accordingly. AFAIK, there is no way to prevent that.
