Every time I start typing a message in Outlook, my font changes
automatically
from Arial or Times New Roman (whichever I choose) to PMingLiU. How
can I
stop this from happening?
Are to guess at WHICH version of Outlook that you use? Or if you use
the embedded new-mail editor in Outlook or have it configured to use
Word as your editor?
With the dearth of details, my guess is that your e-mail template used
by Word has the PMingLiU font in its formatting. I don't use Word
that much. I think you need to change the font (highlight the entire
body area even if just 1 character gets highlighted) and then same
that e-mail as your [normal] template. In fact, as I recall, the
trick was that you have to move the cursor to the end of the body and
then select back to the beginning of the doc to ensure there was no
trailing font change at the end of the doc (i.e., Ctrl-A might not
work). If using Word to compose new e-mails, a Word newsgroup would
know how to change the email.dot template used by Word when composing
new e-mails.
