How do I stop OL2003 from downloading email that it is left on se.

I have certain e-mail accounts that I chose to download on this PC using
Outlook 2003, but I want them left on the server so when I get to the final
destination computer, I can download them at that site. Problem is, Outlook
seems to want to download them again here at this PC everytime I open
Outlook. Any help would be appreciated.
