how do I stop outlook being default email in vista pictures

When in vista (home premium) I cannot stop Office Outlook being chosen as my
default email when using pictures (ie sending photos). I have selected
windows mail as the default email and it is showing as such but it always
goes to outlook in pictures. Any ideas anyone??
