How do I stop receiving duplicate emails?

My wife has Outlook 2007 running on her new Vista Home Premium computer.
She has two email accounts set up in her Outlook, both are Gmail accounts.
One is from a company she works with, the other is a personal account.
The "company" Gmail account works fine.
The personal Gmail account is delivering duplicate copies of every email
that is downloaded to her account.
Does anyone know how to stop this phenomenon?

1. Access her gmail account via the webpage - are there duplicates there
already?
2. If not, then it is her Outlook that is causing the duplication, try
disabling any anti-virus integration
3. This is a newsgroup, answers are for the benefit of others, not just for
you, so they will not be emailed to you.
4. By publishing your real email address in this newsgroup, you will receive
a lot more spam.
