How do I stop tables in Word from corrupting?

C

Confused...Ella

Sometimes when I open a file. I get a message which tells me that the table
in that particular document is corrupted. I only seem to get it for one
particular file though that is updated and "saved as.." a new file. I tried
starting the file from scratch, rebuilding all the table and typing in all
the text in a new document, but it is till happening.

Does anyone have any clues?

It tends to recur with particular table features -- very long tables, that
span mutple pages particularly if you have individual rows that span
multiple pages, and tables with complex merged and split cells.

Hard to suggest anything specific, other than -- if it's a big table --
breaking it up into smaller chunks and see if you can identify the chunk
that's causing the problem.
