Every time I send a document to the printer, an information balloon pops up
from the printer icon in the task bar telling me that I have sent document
xyz to print. Does anyone know how I can stop it ?

Thanks,
Barbara

**This newsgroup is for general questions about Microsoft Access, which is
the Microsoft Office Systems database.**

But, since we care about everyone here...

Open the printers folder(start / printers and faxes) and
choose File / Server Properties. This will open the Print Server Properties
dialog box.
Select the tab called 'Advanced', and
locate the 'Show informational notifications for..." check boxes. There are
two, one for local printers, and one for network printers.
Uncheck the ones that apply to you and
click Apply.
Test print something to verify that the balloon is popped.

Ok, well, I didn't ask the question, and it had nothing to do with Access,
but I'm quite pleased to learn how to pop that balloon permanently! Thanks!
