How do I stop the Reviewing toolbar from always displaying?

S

Strangefire

When I open most Word 2002 documents, the REVIEWING toolbar appears and I
have to manually remove it so I can get more viwing space on my screen. I
don't want the REVIEWING toolbar to ever display in a Word document unless I
want it too. Heck, I don't even use the toolbar all that much. It's very
annoying.

Also, if this can be done without a registry change, that would be best.

Thank you!

You will need to force it off with a macro i.e. you need an autoopen macro
in normal.dot containing the line

CommandBars("Reviewing").Visible = False

See http://addbalance.com/word/webtoolbar.htm and the modification for the
reviewing toolbar.
