how do I stop warnings every time I click on an outlook email?

WARNING: there is another program trying to access the email addresses of
your contacts in Outlook. If this is a surprise to you it may be a virus.

This is the message window that pops up every time I click on an email
message in Outlook 2002. What can I do to stop it? Just stop using Outlook?
